I have over 10 years of experience working with children. I first started working with children when I was in High School. I worked at an after-school program where I was responsible for supervising 10-15 first graders. I came up with engaging activities and games that promote intellectual and mental growth. On the weekends, I spent my saturday mornings and early afternoons coaching two soccer teams. I coached a kindergarten team as well as a first/second grade team. In college, I worked as an after-school nanny for three years. I also provided before school care for another family during this time. After college I worked as a full time nanny and housemanager. I provided care for the two children as well as carried out household duties such as laundry, grocery shopping, and so on. I prepared dinner for the family as well. I have experience working with children of all Read more different ages. I also have experience working alongside children with disabilities. As a nanny, I like to be engaged with the children. I am very hands on. I like arts and crafts, drawing, hiking, exploring, sports, joking around and so on. Whatever the children are doing, I am typically right besides them participating!
