I have a BA in Psychology from the University of NC Wilmington. Upon graduating college, I pursued a career as a caregiver for children with special needs. I spent two years working with twin girls. I helped by guiding and assisting them to accomplish personal goals regarding daily living and physical fitness, as well as helping to establish their own independence. I also prepared weekly schedules for the girls within the community by incorporating fun and creative activities. During this time, I also began a career as a House Keeper, and expanded as well as maintained this business when I relocated to Hope Mills, NC. A few months ago, I relocated to Huntersville, NC (My home town!) and began working as a Registered Behavior Technician. This has given me experience working with children that have autism and implementing behavior plans to increase language and communication, appropriate play skills, cooperation skills, Read more and self-help skills. I have developed a passion for working with kids of all ages. I am very playful at heart, have a lot of energy, and find enjoyment in engaging activities! I am not content with copious amounts of time spent sitting around watching TV, although I DO enjoy this when there is a healthy balance in place!
