I am a full-time college student set to graduate in December of 2019 with a criminal justice degree then plan to go on to PA school for my masters. I have spent years watching children around my neighborhood and watching my nephew. My mother is a school teacher and I have learned a lot from her. I have been a lifeguard and am currently still trained in child and adult CPR/AED/FirstAide. I currently work at the University of Kansas Hospital as a unit coordinator for Medical Oncology and plan to further my career within the health systems. I have always had a passion for children and before changing my degree I wanted to become a special education teacher through on my journey to that I found a different calling within the health system.
