I spent 5 years teaching ELA in the middle and high school settings. I maintain my certifications and still have a drive to work with children and teens. Through my years teaching, I found that my true passion, and why I loved the job, was the building of relationships and watching my students grow. Not that I work at a Boys and Girls Club, I am even more aware of just how much I enjoy building those relationships. This has lead me to believe that a long term nanny position may just be where I fit best. Being able to work with just a small group of kids and be a part of their growth for an extended period of time seems exactly like what I want to do. I am currently still certified to teach 6-12 grade English and 6-9 grade Social Studies. Since my time at Boys and Read more Girls Club, I have also become CPR and First Aid certified, from infant to adult.
