I started taking care of kids and pets when I was in high school. I would frequently babysit three girls, two in elementary school and one infant, throughout the school year. Some responsibilities included picking them up from the bus-stop after school, feeding them dinner, making sure school work was completed, entertaining them and putting them to bed. I would also take care of the family dog during vacations. The past few summers, I have worked as a councilor for my town's music camp with grades 4-7. My duties as a councilor were to help teach them basic skills on their instruments and ensuring they were safe and having fun throughout the day. I believe I am a qualified nanny and babysitter because I am enthusiastic, friendly, responsible and have an overall love for working with kids.
