I am currently an early child hood development major at Pierce College. At the age of thirteen I started volunteering at a summer camp where I was working with children 6 months to 5 years old. During the eight years I spent at this summer camp I went from volunteering to planning the following years to running the area for the younger kids. In high school I volunteered for La’s Best. La’s Best is a after school program for kids from kindergarten to fifth. When I graduated high school I was hired to work for La’s best for 2 years. During this time I became CPR and first aid trained. Now that it’s summer school is not in session so I’m looking for a summer job, hoping to make your summer less stressed and your kids summer more fun.
