I’ve had multiple babysitting, housekeeping, and pet sitting gigs growing up. It’s something I’ve enjoyed and been comfortable with. I occasionally babysit during my summer breaks, but I’ll be taking a gap year. So I’ve decided to make babysitting more of a permanent, full-time position (I should just say nanny, right?😊). I’ve always volunteered my time at the Boys and Girls Club when I’m away at college and also help during Vacation Bible School at my church. So I’ve worked with children of all ages. Additionally, I have my CPR Cerrificate. I was in the Respiratory Therapy program at Loma Linda University for two quarters. Even though I discovered it wasn’t for me and I didn’t enjoy it, I excelled in the program, maintaining a 4.0 GPA and doing very well during my clinical hours. I am grateful for the time I was there because I have two quarters under Read more my belt of patient care and I was able to firsthand use my skills provided during my CPR training. I have at least 140 hrs of clinical care for adults and children in a hospital setting. I know this is different from babysitting, but these hours taught me the compassion, responsibility, love, and care I should have for my patients or anyone else I care for.
