Giving love and care is what completes my life and children are definitely the best way to express my personality. Though children are sometimes mischievous, I absolutely love caring for children. I have been in the medical field for over four years, and have been CPR and First Aid certified. My first babysitting job was in 2012, where I cared for 3 young boys, ages 3, 5, and 7. I have worked with special needs children, and frequently care for my close friends' young babies. Last summer, I was an assistant teacher at Red Rover Children's Learning Center in Davenport IA. I cared for up to 4 children by myself, ranging in ages 3-24 months. One of my volunteer services during my four years at college was to be the ministry teacher of the 9-11 year olds at my local church. Every Sunday, I was in charge of teaching a Read more class of anywhere from between 6-16 children, assisted by several other volunteers. Though that opportunity, I was able to develop my skills at communicating and interacting with children. I understand that children and infants need caregivers that have a lot of patience, and that is one of my top priorities when caring for children. I have my own car so personal transportation would not be an issue. My schedule is completely open, though I am only looking for around 30 hrs a week.
