I HAVE AN ENHANCED BACKGROUND CHECK AVAILABLE (Unable to post to Sittercity as it was conducted through the UW healthcare system!) Hi all! My name is Sara, I am a third year Doctor of Audiology (Hearing & Balance) graduate student at the University of Washington. I have 8+ years of experience caring for children both in a nanny role and as a clinician. I have experience working with children as little as 4 hours old (believe it or not I was a newborn hearing screener in multiple hospital NICUs!) up to 15 years old. I am CPR/BLS certified and am mandated by law to be fully up to date on all vaccines. I am also moderately proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and am always happy to teach kids and their parent's new signs. I am fun loving, highly creative and excellent with children. I do have specific training to Read more work with special needs kiddos including those with hearing loss, autism, trisomy 21, and more! As you may have guessed I am a huge proponent for language development and auditory exercises so lots of my play style focuses on learning and developing communication early. I am currently located in the Woodinville/Duvall area and have a valid drivers license. My clinic schedule for the next 3 months is fairly light so I have decent availability/flexibility. Please contact me if you have any questions!
