My name is Emily, and I hope to become an honorary member of your family! A little bit about me - I live right in the heart of Columbia City, but am a Montana girl at heart and look forward to the Seattle summers where I can hike, explore, and play outside! I made the move to Washington in 2014 in search of progressiveness, accessibility to art & culture, and really good coffee. I've traveled all around the world and am hoping to have traveled to 50 countries by the time I am 50 years old. I grew up in Billings, Montana and graduated at the top of my class at Rocky Mountain College with a cumulative 3.94 GPA, with degrees in both Psychology and Business Management. My career experience has revolved around hospitality in both the restaurant industry and, most recently, luxury hotels. My professional working experience has been Read more extremely valuable, but I've decided to return to school to develop my skills in graphic design. I am in the process of starting my own business, Dine Finer Marketing. I work with restauranteurs to help them with website development, social media/reputation management, and marketing. I spent my college internship working with pre-school age children at Billings Head Start. Additionally, I have volunteered extensively with Eagle Mount where I had the opportunity to work with developmentally-disabled youth and young adults. I am always open to working with children who require special care. I look forward to learning more about your family and playing an important role in raising your child(ren) with love, care, and support. I am currently CPR certified and have received my flu shot for the season. I currently nanny for two families in the neighborhood. However, one family will be moving out of the area in early January and the other infant that I watch will begin daycare in mid-January. I have been with Family 1 for close to two years. The children are now 5 and 2.5 years old. I have been with Family 2 since April when the mother returned to work from maternity leave. The child is now approaching her first birthday.
