Hello my name is Miriam Jauregui, I am currently a student at Bastyr University, pursuing a degree in Herbal Sciences and Holistic Landscape Design. I am originally from California. I speak, read, and write in English and Spanish. Some of my pastimes consist of gardening, reading, learning about plants and cooking.I like to browse for easy recipes that consist of minimal and healthy ingredients. You could also find me at Barnes and Noble skimming through different books or studying at the Starbucks. I also spend a lot of my time in my school’s garden, or catching a hike with a friend. I am new to Sittercity but not to babysitting, I have babysat since the age of 14 and have always done it as a job in high school. I have a three year old niece, and now more than ever I understand how precious kids are. I treat children Read more with respect by making sure they feel their needs are being met as well as making them feel secure.I like to make sure I abide to any rules and ensure parents that I can adapt to different parenting styles. Friendly pets like dogs and cats are also a joy to have around and I don’t mind caring for them as well. Overall, as a caregiver I prioritize the family’s comfort and engage as much and however parents require me to do so. I try to maintain clear communication and maintain parents informed.
