I jam currently a sophomore at Western Washington University. I was just recently at Eastern Washington University for a quarter and living at home in Spokane, Washington and before that I was a student at University of Montana. I am majoring in Sociology and minoring in Women and Gender studies, with the intention to work for some sort of non-profit and eventually become a counselor or teacher. As of my childcare experience, I have held various jobs in retail but I absolutely love babysitting kids because of their creative and fun outlook on life. I have approximately 5 years of experience with child care from babysitting for various families and was also a junior counselor at a local summer YMCA camp. While I have never had a full-time nanny position due to my scheduling before, I have always been valued as a “date night” babysitter in my hometown due to my dependability and ability to initiate fun activities while also ensuring the safety of the children. Some of my favorite activities revolve around arts and crafts, music/dance parties, homemade obstacle courses, and any type of sports. I always feed off the kids’ energy and love to play with them, creating an overall fun and nurturing environment.
