I became a babysitter long before I could even apply for a job. I took care of my two younger siblings while my mom worked two jobs to support us, and it was something I didn't mind at all. Once my mom was able to just have one job, I continued to babysit for neighbors, family friends, and members. I learned how to become a trustworthy, honest, and dependable person because of it. leaving your kids with a perfect stranger can be tough, and I like to provide the comfort of knowing I can be trusted. Babysitting taught me things I didn't know about myself before. Meal prepping was something I would help often with, and my passion for cooking arose. I also noticed how easy it was to connect to kids, which lead me on my path to becoming a teacher in my near future. I am still in Read more school and plan to graduate in August.... so for the remainder of my time here in San Marcos, I would love to continue doing something I love and have fun with.
