Hi! I would love to talk to you about this job! I am a piano teacher, and have been nannying for about 5 years. I also worked at a preschool teaching music and a 2 year old class. The first long term family had a 4 year old special needs boy, and a 6 year old boy. My primary focus was on the 4 year old. I had him full time until he was old enough to go to kindergarten. I taught him age appropriate things, we did crafts, went to fun places like the play for all park, library and zoo, and I assisted him in his weekly speech, occupational and physical therapy sessions and worked with him on the homework. The other family had a 4 month old. I nannied him until he was 2.5 years old and they no longer needed a nanny. He was my buddy!! Read more I had him full time and a lot of weekends when his parents went out of town. They also had 3 older kids, but I only had them during the summer. The baby went with me everywhere! We went to the library, kids gym days, aquariums, the zoo, and baby music classes. Kids have my heart..my goal with every family is to make sure the kiddos feel loved and like they have someone else to count on. I can’t wait to talk to you!
