I am a caring compassionate person who loves to help in all ares of life. I was interested in childcare because at the time I was going to school to study occupational therapy and possibly work with special needs children. I was the nanny for a child with Down syndrome for several years, and it was one of the most fulfilling things for me. I truly grew attached and loved teaching him sign language. Since then, I worked for a daycare, helping in the 3-4 year old room, as well as helping out in the infants room. I have since been working in administrative jobs in an office, but have been realizing I miss the joy childcare brings me.
