I love kids and think investing in them is so important--both because I think as adults, we have a lot to learn from kids, and of course, because kids are our future. I have experience caring for children of all ages. I regularly babysat for a family with two kids (ages 2 & 5 at the start) for several years. In addition, I have babysat many other families' kids of all ages, ranging from infant to preteens. Outside of regular babysitting, I have experience as a camp counselor at Camp Barnabas, a camp for children and adults with disabilities. I fed, clothed, bathed, and watched kids of all ages. I have also provided childcare for children of families while at events. I truly enjoy interacting with and caring for kids and would love to help out a family in Tulsa for the summer.
