My name is Alyssa Busken and I am currently in nursing school at Goldfarb School of Nursing pursuing my BSN. I am 25 years old and have a very warm and inviting personality. I love being active, staying busy, and enjoy interacting with others. I enjoy playing sports, reading books, completing arts and crafts projects, learning new things, and teaching others about the world around them. Before nursing school I was a high school science teacher in the Kansas City area and worked as a camp counselor for a summer job for multiple years. I have experience working with children ages 5 all the way up to teenagers. I feel comfortable interacting with younger children as well. I am BLS (basic life support) CPR certified and feel comfortable practicing my nursing skills to keep all members of the community safe and healthy.
