Hi there! There is nothing that I find more rewarding than working with little ones. Maybe not so much the boogers, but the messy parts just come with the territory! My background includes several amazing paid and unpaid jobs working with children. For 4 years, I was a Sunday school teacher for 1st, 4th, and 5th graders. I have 5 years experience working for High Meadow, which is a resort and amazing day camp in CT. I also have 4 years experience in a non-profit setting supporting individuals with disabilities. Through my experiences, I have found that the best way to keep children engaged is to incorporate the silly that kids love with the structure that kids need. I have worked with one year olds up to early teens and have supported special needs including brain injury, autism, and development delays. I am currently in Massachusetts Approach to Partnership in Read more Parenting (MAPP) training to become a DCF foster parent. I also work part-time babysitting, face-painting, organizing events for charity events, etcetera. My BA is in Psychology and I have an MBA in HR Management, so I have a strong passion for working with a diverse group of people.
