Hi there! I am a Texan-born and raised- in a Hispanic household (fluent in English and Spanish) and currently go to school at LSU to study Nutrition with a focus in a Pre-Med route. Growing up in a single mother household, I lived with a few babysitters that became second moms to me. I am the youngest of 3 kids and I am certified as an EMT-B, which means I also am CPR certified for adults, children, and infants. In my free time, I like to read (currently reading "Nada es tan terrible" (nothing is so terrible) by Rafael Santandreu to strengthen my orthography in the Spanish language since I have not been using it as much since I moved to Louisiana for school. I don't like to go clubbing, don't drink or smoke (I've seen too many cases of that ending up terribly) and like to watch documentaries about Read more the origins of our food and the background of it concerning the food companies and the politics of it all -- hence the Nutrition major. As far as personal experience, I have babysat my two nephews and niece, ages 7, 5, and 2 respectively. I know your children are your absolute most valuable treasure, and I will treat them as such. I am open to meeting with you beforehand as many times as needed for you to get to know me, because I can only imagine how worrisome it must be to leave your child with a stranger.
