My name is Sotonye. I am currently a doctoral student in Child Clinical Psychology. I am passionate about child development and promoting positive emotional, behavioral, academic, and social growth for children and youth. I have acquired experience working with children, adolescents, and families through providing individual and group counseling on issues ranging from developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, interpersonal relationship difficulties, mood disorders, and parent-child relationship issues. I have been a professional babysitter and nanny in Chicago and surrounding suburbs for over 10 years. We scheduled for Sotonye to arrive just before our one-year-old went to bed. Sotonye was prompt, super friendly, and helpful with our bedtime routine. She asked all the right questions, and she was entirely receptive to my overly-detailed instructions on what to do if our daughter woke up while we were gone. During the middle of our outing, we received a text from Sotonye letting us know that all was well. She put us totally at ease, and we will absolutely use her again in the future!
