My experiences in caring for children include babysitting for the past 6 years. I have worked with children from birth to age 13, including working with a child who has special needs. As an individual, I pride myself on my abilities in multi-tasking, organization, patience, communication, creativity, and my ability to bounce back after difficulties. As I continue my college career at Iowa State University, I will be working towards my degree in Child, Adult, And Family Services with a specialization in children and youth. This major has allowed me to take classes focused on child development, family communication studies, diverse learning needs, special education, as well as other courses focused on child/youth development. I am looking for a summer job that will allow me to gain more experience working with children. I am available Monday-Friday along with some weekends if needed.
