Hello, my name is Laurissa, and I am currently a contracted Instructional Assistant Special Education. My contract will be ending at the end of June and I will have free time all summer. I will be moving from Charles County, MD to Sussex County, DE at the end of June when my contract ends. I have been a caregiver for over a decade and take pride in being an auntie to my niece and 4 nephews. When I go to spend time with them they get very excited to see me, and so do their friends. I'd like to believe it's because I am goofy, caring, and that they trust me. My 2 older nephews sometimes come to me instead of their parents when they need someone to talk to, and I am so grateful for them. Besides spending time with my nephews, I have babysat since at least 2008, and have professional experience working with kids in many different settings such as church daycare, bible school, and working as a summer camp counselor at a party venue that uses moon bounces. I am flexible with my hours and can negotiate hourly rates if there is need for it. My motto is to be kind and patient to others.
