I am a retired nurse who loves kids. I started college to be a teacher but dropped out and decided to go into nursing after volunteering as a play therapist at night at st raphael’s pediatric department. Ive always loved children babysat for 3 kids when i was 13 and continued all through high school at $.50 an hour then to $.75 when my job went from 3 to 5 kids. I wanted to be a pediatric nurse but found it very distressing to take care of sick children in hospital they are always sooo sick, or parents werent ever around . I would like part time work and with small childre they are so much fun and joyful makes you feel young again. I have only one daughter she is grown and lives away so i have a lot of free time.
