Hi, my name is Allison and I love children! I am a social work student at Central Connecticut State University and plan to graduate in the spring of 2021. I have experience working with toddlers and pre-schoolers at Bunny Village Daycare of Cheshire during my summer and winter breaks. We play games, read stories, create crafts, and so much more. I have also worked at the Yellow House of Cheshire for several years helping first and second graders learn to read, as well as hosting weekend social events for middle schoolers to engage in activities and games. Through my time at CCSU, I have volunteered at the CCARC; helping adults with disabilities, CMHA; running groups with adults with mental health difficulties, the YWCA's Strive after school program at Pulaski Middle School of New Britain; working to empower young girls, and a brief experience working with elderly individuals with Dementia and Read more Alzheimer's. I am looking for a summer job and am open to anything.
