I am an experienced childcare provider with an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently a full-time student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development. Although I no longer work in the classroom, I have nine years of experience as a preschool teacher. While my professional experience is limited to preschool-aged children, my personal experience spans all of childhood. I have two children of my own. My daughters are 13 and 16 years old. I see children as unique, capable individuals. As such, I believe that my role is to meet each child’s individual needs. While I like to follow the lead of children, some of my favorite things are reading to and with children, as well as just talking with them to find out more about them and the things they like to do. I place a high priority on safety, and I am Read more certified in first aid and CPR.
