I have been a trusted sitter in the South Bay for 10 years. Currently, I work as a driver but was previously a nanny for a toddler and baby boy for 5 years up until they moved last summer. I genuinely enjoy being around and caring for children so I consider it a blessing to be able to do so while pursuing other interests. In my spare time, I tend to indulge in books of the self-improvement genre, fiddle on my guitar, and stay active outdoors. I'm the middle of three kids with two brothers. Pets are an added bonus for me as I have a calico mix cat myself that I adore and adore animals all around. I also follow a vegan diet, like to make my own DIY natural products at home whether it be for cleaning or hygiene purposes, and prefer documentaries over movies more often than Read more not with the exception of maybe ones showcased at film festivals. My experience over the years has involved caring for a wide age range of kids. I think emotional health is incredibly important and keep that at the forefront of my mind when I'm around the kids I care for. I like getting to know the kids I care for, their quirks, what types of things peak their interest and how they best and prefer to communicate whether its moreso verbal, through music, dance, drawing, etc. I also like to think that I take constructive criticism well! I appreciate it when parents communicate with me openly and honestly and I do my best to reciprocate with the same.

I posted for a date night sitter the same day as the date. I know... not a good idea. Jennifer applied with a thoughtfully written email. I asked her for references and I didn't hear back from her for 4 days. I don't know if Jennifer is a good or bad sitter. We didn't get the chance to find out. Before you rely solely on her you may want to consider having backup options.
