Hi my name is Teresa and I am a very energetic 59 year old. I love working with children and have been doing it for a little over 30 years and loving every minute of it. I started working in large license home daycares for about 22 of those years to being a preschool teacher for 6 years to becoming a nanny for 3 years caring for two little girls who I absolutely loved. I studied early childhood education at Sacramento City College so that I teach in a preschool classroom. I love watching children experiment and try new things. I love to go on nature hikes and cooking with them as well as trips to the park and the library and I love planting things with them and having them see how things grow. My philosophy is to treat each child with love and respect and to really listen to concerns.

Teresa was our nanny for almost 2 years. She was dependable, positive, and kind. She was always willing to play with our kid (who was 3 when she started). She also arranged playdates with another nanny/kid, did outings to the park, and made sure safety was a top priority. She knows Davis really well, including kid-friendly activities and places, and gets around on her bike like it's a car. We hope she finds another family to nanny for, now that our kid is in school!
