About Fanny

I have extensive experience as a tutor, working throughout high school, college, and graduate school in relevant positions. Similar relevant experience includes a position as an assistant teacher in a middle school ESL classroom, running the "learning center" at a residential summer camp for children with behavioral or emotional challenges, and interning in a school program for children having behavior difficulties in mainstream settings. During graduate school, I have pursued coursework on pedagogy and child learning and development, served as a supervisor to undergraduates and junior graduate students, and taught undergraduate courses in Developmental and Clinical Psych, Measurement and Statistics, Research Methods, and lab research. I also have some experience as a bat/bar mitzvah tutor for a synagogue. I can tutor in most subjects for most ages; I particularly enjoy working with school-age kids. I am also happy to help kids develop better study skills and organizational methods.
