I love helping individuals to learn and become more able to interact without social anxiety. Recently I gave care to an individual that had suffered a mental breakdown. This person is in their early 30 and had mentally regressed to 6-8 years old. I helped them throughout the day. Prepared meals for them, helped them shower and dress. I watch DVDs with them and colored with crayons with them. Allowed them a sense of independence at times and curbed their actions as needed. They had a sense of trust and safety.
