When I was 16 I had a babysitting job for a family of foster children. One child was a 4-month-old baby with brain damage. He took extra sensitive care. I have worked with preschool age children with hyperactivity and behavioral disabilities. This was during my internship as student preschool teacher. Most recently, I am working at the public schools in our area, in the life skills classrooms as a substitute instructional aid. So I am on call Monday through Friday. But I am gaining more& more experience with children with special needs such as, autism, Downs syndrome, deafness, CP, speech delays just to name a few. I know seizure protocols, for I have aided in several seizures within my household. I am available for after school hours, some nights, & weekends.
