I have known Felecia since 2010, first as an employee of mine and now as friend. I first met her when she worked for me at a community-outreach program for autistic children ages 5-21. As an employee, I found Felecia to be caring, kind, funny, outgoing, patient, compassionate, empathetic, and in-tune with the needs of the child she was paired with for the day. Felecia demonstrated to me that she genuinely cares and is able to create strong bonds with the children she cares for. At the program, we worked with very low-functioning, non-verbal, aggressive children--Felecia was great at managing difficult behaviors and handling various crises throughout the day. Felecia was trained by the state of NJ to provide medication administration and also received training on behavior modification, crisis management techniques, and first aid/CPR.
