About Whitney

I have more than 10 years-experience working in adult care. I have approximately 5 years experience with adults with developmental disabilities, Mental Illness (including severe cases and trauma), Physical disability, and Dementia. 2-3 years spent working as an ER Tech in a hospital Emergency room and a Nursing Assistant on the Acute Care floor. I worked for one year in a rehabilitation facility. I am licensed with the State of Michigan as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I am also BLS Certified (Basic Life Support) includes CPR. I have also received a Home Health Aid certificate and a Medication Aid Certificate. I'm experienced with diabetes; I understand the needs of the illness and the importance of maintaining an appropriate diet. I can use any glucometer and able to follow a sliding scale. I am happy to assist with any cleaning or household tasks needing attention. I have managed fixed budgets and grocery shopped accordingly and within diets. I am a large and able-bodied person.
