Victoria came into our lives when my Dad entered into home hospice care. He desperately wanted to remain at home and not in a nursing facility, but his declining mobility and respiratory function became too much for my Mom to care for alone. Victoria came out in the mornings and late in the evenings to help safely get Dad into and out of his hospital bed from a chair, to and from a bedside commode, and reposition him as needed. She is easy to get along with and very compassionate, even when health is declining and one is simply not at their best. Victoria was there the evening my Dad slipped away from us in February 2019, and without her my Mom would have been alone on that very hard night. While she is no longer needed as a caregiver, Victoria is now like a part of our family and will always be a treasured friend.
