About Vanessa

My name is Vanessa. I am bilingual in English/Spanish. I am a registered nurse with over 12 years of nursing experience in pediatric home care, spinal cord injury/ortho, and community health. Most recently I worked as a nurse case manager coordinating the care and services of Medicaid patients in the community. I resigned to care for my grandmother who came home on hospice after a tragic hip fracture. I am a huge advocate for the people I care for- I will fight to get people the care and attention they deserve and I treat people as though they were my own family. In my spare time I love to read, cook and run. I am Christian and Jesus is my Lord. My husband and I are department heads for a team at church that helps connect new people to their next steps at church. I also lead an infertility support group for women in the community that have experienced the challenges of trying to conceive or have experienced loss.
