About Valerie

I have two skill-sets that can be of use to inquiring families. First, I have an affinity for seniors and have experience with Alzheimer's and memory loss. Secondly, I have extensive administrative office experience, which I have found to be most helpful as a personal assistant. Most recently, I was a personal assistant and companion for a lovely lady with Alzheimer's. I assisted her with daily living activities and worked closely with her family, enabling her to continue her social life and interests, while preserving her dignity. At the same time, I helped run her household-paying the bills, arranging vendors, providing her son and daughter regular updates on her health and activities, etc. I enjoy cooking, cleaning, gardening and organizing. I can plan outings and social events but also activities at home--I take my cues from your loved one and your family.
