Hi, I'm Tonya! I have been a caregiver for over 15 years now. I have taken care of 3 of my 4 grandparents at home. And also an uncle that had anoxic brain damage. I have a lot of knowledge and patience when it come to at home care. I am able to help with adl's, cleaning, cooking and other needs. I have worked in a nursing home setting as well as home settings which I prefer. I enjoy one on one care. I am hoping to start connecting to families and help to ease some of the stress off. Tonya helped me care for my mother in my home. My mother had end stage dementia and was not very mobile but Tonya knew exactly what she was doing in all aspects of her care. I don't know what I would have done without her. She was kind and gentle and my mother, even with dementia, responded to her so well. Tonya taught me so much. My mom passed away and Tonya and I were right by her side. It was loving and peaceful and I was so grateful to have her there. I will forever be grateful.
