About Tina

My name is Tina and I am a mother of two. I am looking for work in this field because I took care of my best friend when she survived a stroke at a young age. I watched her go from fiercely independent to someone who could barely walk. I learned so much from our relationship and she always encouraged me to do this type of work. I learned everything it means to assist someone while letting them do everything they are capable of and offering assistance with the things they can no longer do. I learned at a young age what it is like to care for someone who is disabled and the lesson was invaluable as well as our friendship. If I could be that person for someone else, it would be an honor.
