About Tina

I always had an interest in care giving for Seniors. I've had clients from ages 24-95 (my last dementia client-95). I strive to talk with my clients with hopes of getting a smile or ultimately a giggle or laugh. I never raise my voice or be rude or mean! I find creative ways to tell my client a story that would hopefully nurture their best interest to do something they are suppose to do that they really don't like and normally put up a big fuss. I can be firm with my stories so I seem to be "very serious" and it grasps their attention. I enjoy getting my clients out, if it's for a short walk, or chair exercise. Any disabilities they have, I persuade them to think of them in a "positive" aspect rather than being depressed. I ensure they eat well, take their medicine, & take care of themselves. I see that their surroundings are neat and clean and document everything they do for the day, everyday. I want my clients to be SAFE, HAPPY, HEALTHY and to feel LIKE WE ARE FRIENDS/FAMILY!
