About Theresa

I was trained as a Medical Assistant (caregiver) and worked for 10 years as one in Oncology, Cardiology, and Family Medicine. I made the decision to semi-retire when my mother was diagnosed with Dementia. I wanted to be more available to help in her care and to be more present for her as a companion. After my mother's passing I made the decision to become a caregiver for the community of people in her honor. I have an extensive history in customer service which has trained me in communications and to respect differences. I am friendly, responsible, trustworthy, and caring. I am highly aware of my surroundings and see the needs presented in caring for the elderly.
