About Tessa

Hi my names Tessa, I was recently laid off from my job due to covid-19. At the moment i'm waitressing part time, as i'm trying to go back to school to pursue a nursing career. I'm CPR and First-aid certified, and I am comfortable with newborns to young teens, as well as seniors. Although I havent worked in a long term care facility, I have always had a passion for the senior population. When my grandfather was in rehab in 2017, due to his failing kidneys, I was there to take care of him as much as I could (day & night). There would be days when I would visit him to not only comfort him, but to help dress him, feed him and make sure that I got as much 1 on 1 time as I could with him. I would very much like to gain some valuable experience working with seniors, as I plan on working within Geatrics after completing my nursing degree.
