About Teija

I worked as an executive assistant before becoming a stay-at-home mom for 20 years. My children are now 17, 22 and 25. I was a cub scout leader for a while, and an avid soccer mom. I took care of my mother-in-law for 5 years. She lived with us and needed a lot of care. One year I worked as a class aide to a special-needs boy. I was background-checked and finger-printed for that position. Last year I worked as a personal assistant to a blind senior citizen and as an after-school counselor. I am currently working as a backup nanny. I'm patient and compassionate, and I believe that all people, whether young or old, deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.
