About Tara

I have one year of experience as a Direct Support Professional working with Adults with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. My client is in her 60's. I also worked in Day Care Centers and as a nanny when in College. I have been the primary caregiver for two seniors in my family through Hospice until they passed. I have been a lifelong caregiver and advocate for many over the years helping clients, family members and friends. I have extensive experience providing support to clients in medical environments, navigating various systems such as Social Security, insurance companies/benefits, and in applying for social supports. I am looking forward to returning to school this coming year to complete my Masters Degree in Social Work. I am told I have a warm and friendly demeanor. I love the work that I do! I am reliable, patient, and very caring. I treat all my clients as if they were family. I believe in providing my Senior Clients with the same care I would want for my own Mom.
