Hello: Thank you for taking the time to read my post. A little about myself: I consider myself to be a very caring and compassionate caregiver and my main goal is to give the best possible care to my clients so they may maintain their independence in their own home. EXPERIENCE: Currently I have experience working with all different types of clientele. Some of the clients that I have taken of are Stroke patient's, (TIA), Parkinson's disease, Dementia, multiple Sclerosis, post-surgical patient's, Oncology patient's, COPD, cognitive disability as well as other types of chronic illnesses. QUALIFICATIONS: Currently I am working part-time as a HHA, doing home health care. I also have worked in a hospital environment for 25 years both as a CNA and then as an Imaging Assistant, in the department of radiology. I have worked in an assisted living Facility, and a nursing home for a short period of time as well but I prefer home care because of being able to spend more time with my patients.

Tammy is an amazing caregiver. She has the patience of a saint. Mom was 86 with dementia and could become upset or scared. Tammy was fabulous helping mom to eat, redirecting her when she became upset, washing her including brushing her teeth. Having a parent or loved one with a memory disease is very stressful. Having Tammy assist with mom gave the entire family such comfort in knowing mom was loved and well cared for. Tammy would still be with us except we just loss mom. She was truly a Godsend for our family.
