Graduated from Blue Cliff College in Alexandria in 2022. I've also had other certifications such as Law Enforcement & Flight Attendant, and others which are listed on my resume. I cared & lived with my maternal grandmother in 1985-89. She was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in her cervix. I was trained then by RNs to administer morphine through a port that was implanted directly into her spine to manage her pain which was severe. I laid out a sterile field, gloved, and mixed morphine & saline in the syringe to prepare for the injection. Every day at 6 a.m. & 6 p.m. I helped the home health aide, who came 3 days a week with bathing, changing pads, feeding, giving her medications, changing gowns, and general care. I cared for her on the days the aide did not come... until she died. I love working with seniors because they are compassionate, caring, respectful, and have great stories to tell!
