About Tamara

I am a 44yo mother of one with 10+ years experience in senior care. I graduated locally then lived in Illinois for 23 years. In 2017, my husband, mother-in-law and I moved to Puryear to be closer to my family. I began caring for my 67yo mother-in-law part time after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She eventually moved in with us and I became her full time caregiver for the last 5 years. I have found I enjoy helping others and providing companionship and care for the elderly. I can handle all aspects of care including companionship, nutrition, bathing/dressing, toileting, tidying up, medication administration/management and transportation for errands/shopping and doctor appointments. I can adjust my approach to accommodate the needs of the individual and their family. I am open to discussion, but I am primarily interested in part time positions with daytime hours.
