Suzanne has been caring for my 92-year-old mother for the past few months. My mother, although alert, has many physical and complex medical challenges. Suzanne is extremely knowledgeable and immediately upon hire revised many of the daily care taking procedures that we had been using to ensure that my mother was safe. She is extremely proactive and very patient, loving and caring. I am not one that can easily let go and allow someone to be in charge of Mom. But I have no hesitation whatsoever to leave Mom in Suzanne's care as I know she will be well cared for, clean and most importantly safe! She also does not just "watch" her for the day, she makes sure that Mom is also mentally stimulated and spends quality time with her playing board games or just talking. I have had aides in the past that were more than happy to just let Mom watch TV all day by herself, but Suzanne spends the entire day making Mom feel loved and special -- she even curls her hair for her each day.
