About Susan

I loved my grandparents dearly, and they were very present in my life. My interaction with them was always natural and deeply engaging. They cared for and supported me while I was growing up. As they aged, I was able to be present for them. My parents are approaching 80 years old. Although they remain healthy and able, many of their experiences and needs are more enjoyable and productive when I am available and along to help. I am able to observe that many of their friends also benefit from a variety of support, ranging from help around their homes, errand running and appointment transportation, companionship, etc... As a school teacher and administrator, I interacted with many grandparents who were raising their grandchildren, and who needed support and service I could help to provide. I observed firsthand their relief and appreciation in having worries reduced and needs met. I am passionate about caring for others, seniors offer so much to my continued learning and understanding.
