Sue came into my parent's home in the worst of times. My father died suddenly and unexpectedly which left my Mother in shock. My sister hired a woman to be in charge of my Mom's care who was unprofessional, causing serious conflicts. Through all of the trauma that ensued Susan was a true professional. My Mother trusted her and felt very safe in her care and Sue never let any of the negativity going on around her affect her care of my Mom. Sue was a consummate professional, highly skilled as a nurse and extremely sensitive to the needs of other's. Watching my Mother die was one of the hardest times of my life. Sue held everyone with tenderness and the greatest of care so that my Mother and I could let go and be with one another completely. I will always be grateful to Sue for who she is what she gave to my Mother and me. She provided the safest space to say goodbye with dignity and love. Sue is a blessing and a gift to anyone she comes into contact with.
