About Steven

My grandmother was like a mom to me. Some of my most cherished memories growing up are with her. When my grandfather passed away in 2016 my poor Mimi was alone and heartbroken, and her memory started to fail. I put my career on hold and spent three years taking care of her before her needs were just too great and had to be placed in an assisted living facility. The time I spent with her was such a blessing for both of us. We cooked delicious meals together and I kept her home clean and comfortable. I enjoyed taking her for drives to visit out of town friends and family that she would probably not see again otherwise. We visited her two sisters in Vermont many times and I would invite friends of hers for small gatherings which she loved. She was quite the social butterfly! I happily took her to appointments and any other errands she needed. I miss spending time with her but I was so happy and grateful that I could help make her life a little easier and full of love!
