Hello! I am looking to fill in the rest of my current schedule as I am nannying part time, Tuesday to Thursday every other week. I am available those weeks on Monday and Friday, and all week the other weeks. I am also available on the weekends as needed. I have experience caring for my grandmother who lived with my parents for several years before going to hospice for over one year. Caring for her during that time was rewarding and made me deeply appreciate the individuals who provide elder care. I would be her primary caretaker on the weekends, when her in-home care providers were unavailable, or when my parents were out of town- anywhere between 1 to 7 days. My responsibilities included dressing, meal prep/feeding, medication, companionship, helping with mobility/using stairs, and bathroom assistance/diaper changing/personal hygiene. I have two degrees in psychology and am versed in how to communicate with those with memory loss/cognitive decline.
